| Current mood: | pleased |
| Current music: | The Cure - Anniversary |
Well, I have my cigarettes, I have the Cure, looks like I'm ready to write my first entry.
It's been a good 4 years since I've kept a diary with any kind of regularity, so this should certainly be an interesting experiment.
I suppose the first thing I should do is say a little about myself.
*fills out the About Me section*
There we go.
Now, for some pictures, pictures are good, they stop people getting bored.

My cat, Sun.
He's a little unbalanced.
Just recovered from a broken leg after jumping clean out of the window and breaking all four bones in his back leg.
He also thinks it's funny to jump into empty baths, flop over and look at you expectantly until you push him around while he tries to skin you with his claws.
Like I say, he's a little unbalanced.

|
My boyfriend of five years, Niccie, Nicholas, Aymczard, Foxie, you name it.
Also a little unbalanced, it's a mystery sometimes how we've managed for five years. Sometimes we seem so completely different.
I'm decadant, Romantic, gothic, dreamy, quick to anger, quick to love.
He's stoic, intoverted, sensible, oh, and a furry.
Bloody Furries. *g*
Still though, he's pretty to look at, and he scrubs up well, so that helps.

And me. Not too much to say about me really.
I'm me.
I've already done the whole 'Who am I?' thing on the Interests page thing.
So that's about it really.

My sister Carol and my niece Beccy (Or Becca as she likes to be called these days. Teenagers).
This was at my 18th Birthday party so it was a while ago now. Still, its about the only picture I have of them, so there we go.
I have another sister (Judy) and a niece and nephew (Molly and Tom), but I don't have any pictures of them at all.
Show you just how much I see them I guess.
Also no pictures of my Mum or Dad, so that speaks volumes too I guess.

My rock superstar best friend Jade, though most people these days call her Toy.
Soon to take the charts by strom with her band's first single this October, she's been really busy of late.
Met her through an online roleplay about three years ago and met her in the flesh a year later.
All I can say about the girl is that she knows no fear. You can tell that by the fact that the first time she came to see me we ended up taking picutures of her in the middle of a park naked apart from her underwear and a length of very sharp barbed wire.

My little brother Mike. This picture was taken a fair few years ago, his hair isn't so long any more.
Which is a shame.
He lives at home with my Mum and Dad, and is looking to join the army, which is a bit of a shock to all of us. Still, he has to do something with his life I suppose.

This is Lou, another really good friend of mine, and a lot of the reason I moved back to Wales. Seen here at Halloween on the left with her then boyfriend Joe. He lives in Bristol these days and I don't see him too much, but Lou I see usually twice a week. God knows what I'd do without her, mad ole' mare that she is, I love her.

|
My best friend and sometime love of my life at school, Natasha. Part of the original trio that I first started roleplaying with, she's getting married this summer to a guy that she got with a week after she and I had a one night stand. Funny old world really.
Still, she's a great girl and I love her to bits. This picture is about 8 years old, but it's the only good photo I have of her. These days she's a vetenary nurse.
Read overworked and underpaid.

The place where I went to University, looking all pretty and sublime in the snow. It was built around the turn of the century and has lots of little hidden bits and interesting corridors.
It was the centre of my life for three years and I still adore the place.
God bless Bangor.

And finally . . .
A photo I took of the grave of the greatest poet ever to have lived when I went to the church where he was laid to rest in Deptford.
Kit Marlowe is proabably the love of my life these days.
In fact, I have a harem, him, Percy Shelley and Lord Byron between them keep most of my heart and soul busy and inspired *g*

It's only now that I've started that I'm realising that I could go on forever.
I won't though.
If nothing else then my fingers would really start to hurt.
So, let me just put things into a few important points.
VOTE NEWSTEAD! - In next weeks episode of the BBC's Restoration program. The building is the ancestral home of the Byron's and a stupidly important part of both our architectural and literary history. Letting it crumble to dust would be an absolute tragedy.
I took some photos on a recent trip to go and see Jade that I thought I'd share.
I took three rolls in total, I may share the others at some later date, but here are the highlights from this one:
The Death of Harriet Shelley
I think that's about all for now. Will be doing some work on Hollow Dreams and my much neglected ShatteredRoses site at some point in the near future with some luck. So watch this space.
I'll try and update at least once a week.
